The Presbyterian and Scots’ Joint Mission (Flemington Mission) exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to be a light to the world by promoting the physical, moral and spiritual wellbeing of all people. There are many who come through our doors from all different backgrounds and lifestyles. Regardless of where they are at, we as a Christian Mission are able to be a light to them through our good works. We show the love of Christ through our actions and by building up relationships with them. We provide a community where they can feel safe. Our prayer is that through our conversations, giving and gospel presentations, that they can come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Easter week is arguably the most important week of the year not only for Christians but for the world. It is an important week where Christians reflect on the historical event of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, God’s Son. On Good Friday we see a picture of God’s unending love for the world and on Easter Sunday we see a picture of the exciting hope that there is for the future. Here at the Mission, we hope to display God’s love in a very practical way and help point people to the great story of Jesus. We are so thankful for all the volunteers and supporters who have continued to contribute to this important work. We are so thankful to God in how he continues to sustain us.
